Clark's job responsibilities are always changing. He is self-employed and runs his company, C6 Advantage, out of his own home in Salina, Kansas. Right now, he is focused on the new Food Safety Modernization Act regulations. He is deeply involved in supporting industry entities and helping them come into compliance with the new regulations. Clark says, “I also support companies with manufacturing opportunities to increase efficiency and safety.”

K-State Experience

Clark stayed involved during his time as a student. He was an early member of the Feed Science Club, making goat feed when it first started. He was also actively involved in his fraternity. On top of that, Clark worked in the old feed mill in the feed processing center when it was still part of Shellenberger Hall.

The internship that he took as an undergraduate was with Land O'Lakes in Wisconsin where he installed new batching software.

Feeding the World

Clark encourages students to put in the effort and the time to gain the opportunity of travelling all over.

“If you have the opportunity or the ability to work hard, both physical and time input, you'll have the opportunity to travel all over the world,” says Clark. “The industry is based, or fundamentally based, on feeding the world.”
